I'm Mary R., the breeder behind Renaissance French Bulldogs and English Toy Spaniels located in Pinos Altos, NM. French Bulldogs have been much loved members of our family since the 1990’s; and, English Toy Spaniels joined our family in 2020. We are preservation breeders and have multiple generations of AKC Champion titled dogs that have also excelled in AKC performance events and the therapy dog field.

Why did you start breeding?
We became interested in being preservation breeders, as we want to produce the next best generation, breeding healthy, breed standard, well socialized dogs with excellent temperaments.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are first and foremost our family pets and we also enjoy showing them in AKC events, as well as volunteering in our community with our therapy dog teams. We utilize Puppy Culture protocol, raising confident, well-adjusted dogs from the whelping box to adulthood. We also offer a lifetime of breeder support to our puppy buyers.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our French Bulldog puppies include brindle, fawn, and white and brindle. English Toy Spaniel puppies are black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
