Meet the breeder

I'm Kendra B., the breeder behind Resting Hooves Homestead located in Alford, FL. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Kendra

  • Why did you start breeding?

I always wanted a Boston Terrier growing up, and finally, after many years I was able to get our girl, Winnie. And we wanted to share the love of Bostons with other people without charging a small fortune.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are born and raised in our home, not a kennel, or outdoor pen. We take pride in our pups being well adjusted, happy, and healthy. They are around other Bostons, children, and a cat daily. They are let free to run in our living room and play at least 3 times daily, and kept in a 4ftx4ft pen when not able to be let loose.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
