I'm Kate R., the breeder behind Reynolds Farms Cavaliers located in Lincoln, AL. My puppies are hand raised in my home. They are part of the family and are loved constantly while they are with us. They are AKC, DNA and OFA tested to have the best possible temperament and health. We want to make sure we are doing our part to only breed healthy and happy dogs for loving homes. Why did you start breeding?
I love my Cavaliers and thought it would be something fun and rewarding. I know how much joy my dogs bring to me, I wanted to breed the best possible puppies for other families to enjoy.
What makes your program special?
I am passionate about Cavaliers and feel that hand-raised puppies in my home, who are involved with our daily life; the sounds of vacuums, TV, talking, the smell of cooking, cleaning, being rocked, held, and sang to as well as the love and care; I put into health tested, well adjusted and socialized puppies. We also use a program called Puppy Culture for proper socialization. I require a phone conversation with all future puppy parents in order to move forward with application process. We also send our puppies home with Trupanion Health insurance.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Kate has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC limited registration, first shots, worming, socialization, beginning potty training, and a one-year health guarantee from a life-threatening genetic defect. We use a program called Puppy Culture to enrich and train them from birth. So you are assured of a healthy, well-adjusted, and socialized puppy. A $500 deposit once the puppies are born and doing well. The payment go towards the purchase price of the puppy.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
