I'm Karen L., the breeder behind Ridgehaven Shih Tzus located in Sevierville, TN. We raise AKC registered and our parents all have been shown most to their championship. Our puppies are affectionate, healthy puppies and we give them the best possible start for a life of companionship and love! We are an in-home program where our dogs are our companions first and foremost. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We love the Shih Tzu breed. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to them by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families.What makes your program special?
Our program is special because of our dogs. Shih Tzu are such a joy, and we find so much fulfillment in raising and preparing them for their loving, forever homes. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for the Shih Tzu line.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, gold, black and white, and gold and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Karen
Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“Price includes registration papers, health check, health guarantee, initial vaccines, microchip, food and much more. Socialized home grown, and loved. $500 non refundable deposit to reserve a puppy. If something happens to the puppy due to no fault of the purchaser, it is refunded. If the purchaser can not pick up and pay for the puppy the deposit is forfeited.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
