I'm Randi D., the breeder behind River Blu Dobermans located in Lake Katrine, NY. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. I am a very small breeder of carefully selected Dobermans and Dogue de Bordeaux with maybe 1-2 litters a year. All of our dogs and pups are living inside my home at all times. they are well socialized around kids and other pets.

  • What makes your program special?

    I try with all my heart to breed the healthiest dogs possible. I take pride in my program and make sure all puppies are well socialized and health checked before going to someone's home. I only allow pick up so I am able to meet people and let them into my home to see how each puppy is raised. Also give me a good sense if they are well fit for a puppy and what they are looking for.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Randi

Randi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Randi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We usually take deposit in first come first serve. Then as puppies reach about 6-7 weeks of age we allow people to start to come meet the puppies and match on basis then. We allow people to face-time up till then to see how puppies are growing.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy will come with limited Akc registration, 1 year health guarantee, first round of shots, deworming, and proper socialization. Full registration maybe offered. All puppies are sames price regardless of sex.”

Contract & health guarantee

Randi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
