I'm Jessica B., the breeder behind Riverside Poodles located in Blackfoot, ID. We breed for health and temperament. We strive to make every puppy well rounded by doing ENS and ESI, sound exposures, sight exposures, frequent grooming, crate and potty training, etc. We truly do everything we can to set our puppies up for a lifetime of happiness and success.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Growing up, my family had a litter of puppies every year just for fun and so from the time I was a little girl I knew that I wanted to raise puppies with my future family. When we began breeding 6 years ago the plan was to do just one litter/year for fun and it could be a little extra money for family trips. Well, I fell in love with it more than I ever expected and it has become my passion.

  • What makes your program special?

    We do everything we can to be the most ethical and honest breeders. We have had many experiences of other breeders not being honest with us and it is sad and hard to experience. Because of the experiences we have had it has fueled the fire for us to want to be the best breeder that you will ever find. We find joy in being honest with others and seeing families meet their new best friend!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include toy, miniature, and moyen sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a 2 year genetic health guarantee contract, AKC papers (if applicable), current vaccinations and dewormer, and a lifetime of support. A deposit is required to hold a puppy for longer than 24 hours. Deposits are non refundable, but can be transferred to a different litter if desired.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
