Why did you start breeding?
The love for dogs started our breeding program. Our first doodle was a labradoodle that we loved very much. She started our desire to bring other types of doodles into our family.What makes your program special?
Living in the mountains makes it special for the puppies. Fresh air, exercise and quality food will make a happy puppy. They love running through our springs on the property. They can get messy but they love it.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 31 Oct 2025 •…The puppies saw their veterinarian this morning. They were checked for hernias, heart, eyes, joints etc along with their first vaccination. Everyone is happy and healthy.

We couldn't be happier with Lola, the breeder and the ease with which it all works through Gooddog. She is and will be a wonderful dog. John had her crate trained, practically housebroken (we missed her signal a couple of times, but that's on us), and sleeps through the night. She is all puppy that is for sure. It has been a great experience which we will happily use in the future. Thank you everyone!

I let too much time go by without telling you how wonderful our experience was! We have had many large dogs over our lives. When my husband and I retired we wanted a dog with a little less "presence". We prayed long and hard about getting a puppy and heard so many horror stories. We fell in love with John and his wife's Cavapoos right away! They were very helpful, quick to communicate, accommodating for pick up and patient with holding our pick while we decided. After bringing the puppy home we found him to be perfect. His temperament was amazing! Whatever they did beforehand with crating was a godsend, because he slept through the night in his crate from day one. He is soooo smart too!. Potty trained easily, catches on to the routine, hangs around us all the time, but not needy or destructive. We are so happy with our baby and honestly didn't know we could love a little guy so much! thank you!!

To say the process was easy is an understatement. We are so super thrilled and over the moon in love with our new guy! His name is Kayoh and he is the smallest dog I’ve ever had and my sons and I just keep saying, “awww, he’s so cute!” to everything he does! John was communicative and helpful through the whole process and we are just super happy to have Kayoh home with us!!! We’re first-time dog parents, and working with Rockbridge Puppies was seamless from inquiry to pickup. John and his wife were responsive, kind, and had everything organized—vet records, crate routine, the works. We brought home Tuxedo (“Tux”) at about three months old; he was well-socialized, calm in his crate, and essentially potty trained. Now nearing six months, he’s the sweetest, most social little guy—gentle with kids and dogs, sits/downs on cue, and checks in to go out. Daycare staff rave about him. We’re so grateful for the wonderful start they gave him—highly recommend Rockbridge Puppies.
