I'm Michael A., the breeder behind Rocky Mountain Poodles located in Pleasant View, UT. We take pride in breeding quality puppies and strive for perfection in health and temperament. I love being a breeder. Our dogs are such an important part of our life and family, and we are so grateful to be able to help each puppies' family experience the same level of joy that our dogs bring.
Q. & A. with Michael
Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding in 2020 because we fell in love with the Poodle breed and wanted others to experience the same. With so many cross breeds in the market we also felt that we should stay true to the Poodle breed and offer the best pets in the area.
What makes your program special?
We take special care in choosing our dam and sire. We look for temperament, intelligence, and color. We whelp indoors under strict temperatures and limited interruption. From birth we handle all of the puppies and inspect them daily. We follow both our veterinarian and breed standards for care throughout the time we have them so when they go to their new homes they are healthy and happy.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
