I'm Jan T., the breeder behind Rolling Meadows Cavaliers located in Spokane, WA. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. We are committed to raising our litters right alongside our family so they’re socialized and ready to leave our care and become loving family members for others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have loved animals and growing up had many wonderful memories with my little dogs! I have raised and bred long haired miniature dachshunds and now the beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. My adoptive families become part of the fabric of what makes our life special. We cherish each family and enjoy getting to know them.

  • What makes your program special?

    We live in the beautiful northwest, in Washington State and have all the fresh clean air, green grass, and nature's friends for my little Cavaliers to romp and play with everyday. We take our time to select our breeding pairs for quality, conformation, health, personality, and breed standards. It it my joy to match each family with the pet that fits their lifestyle, family and dreams - thus adding to their lifelong family fur-member.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jan

Jan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, veterinary check-up, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, and a special take-home puppy gift package with a handmade puppy quilt. Price is before taxes and fees. Deposits on future litters are refundable, deposits on puppies are applied to the final purchase of the puppy on "adoption day" (pick-up).”

Jan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Jan at Rolling Meadows was wonderful to work with from the beginning. She was very accommodating to have a FaceTime video call with the puppies before placing a deposit. That call lasted nearly an hour, during which she took the time to answer all my questions, introduce me to the parents and the litter, as well as give me a tour of their living environment and parts of their home and backyard. The puppies are truly raised in a very loving, clean, idyllic home and given lots of human cuddle time for perfect socialization. I felt comfortable with Jan and her level of care right away. I was going to be traveling from San Diego, and Jan was willing to drive to meet me by the Spokane Airport, where I could pick up my baby girl to bring her to her forever home. During the time between our initial FaceTime and the pickup date, Jan kept me updated on my baby with pictures and short video clips via text message and was responsive any time I messaged her. Most importantly, the baby I received was healthy, happy, and incredibly affectionate and snuggly from the first minute I held her. She has become the best little companion, and she and our 4-year-old Cavalier just adore each other. My husband and I could not be happier to be her parents. We send our forever thanks to Jan, super-mama Gracie, and Rolling Meadows.

    Jan was great and went above to help us pick the perfect pup from the litter. She has a living home for her dogs and did an excellent job with initial potty training on our puppy.
