Meet the breeder

I'm Dessa R., the breeder behind Rom Haus Rottweilers, LLC located in Goodwater, AL. Our mission is to share that same love and companionship with others through responsible and ethical breeding. We are committed to preserving the integrity of the Rottweiler breed by focusing on health, structure, temperament, and overall well-being. Each dog is raised with care, and respect.

Q. & A. with Dessa

  • Why did you start breeding?

My passion for Rottweilers began at nine years old, inspired by a remarkable dog who left a lasting impact on my life. He showed me a level of love and companionship I had never experienced before. That bond inspired my lifelong goal to responsibly breed Rottweilers and provide other families the opportunity to experience the same loyalty, connection, and unconditional love.
  • What makes your program special?

I dedicate over 10 hours daily to my Rottweilers, providing individualized care, training, and exercise. Each dog receives structured goals and positive reinforcement to support development and well-being. I am deeply committed to their care, building strong bonds and ensuring they are raised with discipline, purpose, and attention.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in a kennel on my property.
