Meet the breeder

I'm Ted M., the breeder behind Rosebriar Kennel located in Esperance, NY. I am purposeful in everything that I do regarding my dogs, which includes careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed. I am a champion trainer with over 30 years experience.

Q. & A. with Ted

  • Why did you start breeding?

English Cocker Spaniels and Labrador Retrievers are incredible breeds. I decided to start my breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in and out of the field. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come. My goal is to produce litters with strong drives and an off-switch to be your perfect companion at home and on the hunt!
  • What makes your program special?

I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves my care.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
