Meet the breeder

I'm Casey N., the breeder behind Royale Beaucerons located in Vista, CA. It has become conventional for breeding programs to create a schism within their breed between dogs built for work and others bred for the show ring — my goal is to bridge the gap between form and function to produce dogs that are true representatives of the Beauceron breed. We strive to stay true to their drive and temperament while maintaining quality, form, and workability.

Q. & A. with Casey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Xerxes was our first Beauceron imported from Slovakia. He has truly checked every box for us with drive, temperament, health and structure. We've broken records in our breed. He's been the first beauceron in history to attend USCA Nationals & together we've made great achievements in IGP1-IGP3. Xerxes is not only the foundation of our breeding program but what compelled it to exist in the first place, to me, he embodies everything a Beauceron should be, he has inspired a duty-esque passion in me for preserving and improving upon the breed. I am so excited to see what the future has in store for our family and program!
  • What makes your program special?

Each puppy is considered a member of our family, and we ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes! Socialization: Puppies go through many stages which are crucial for their development. We choose to raise our puppies with Puppy Culture " A training program specifically developed for puppies from birth through the end of their critical socialization period, with age appropriate protocols and lessons laid out in an organized format." In addition puppies get to meet with new people, experience new environments/surfaces, loud noises, loud noise soundtracks to further better their socialization. Breeder Support: Each puppy that leaves our home is forever loved by its breeder! I'm here to help you on your new journey. Whether it be information with training/sports, help with ear posting, crate training, conformation/showing, nutrition/supplements I'm always happy to give guidance!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
