I'm Monica & Amaya, the breeder behind Sacred Paw Sanctuary located in Rosemont, CA. Sacred Paw Breeding Program is a small, intentionally built program based on deep love and care for our Boston Terrier pair and their adorable puppies. Each dog is raised in our home as family, with devotion to their well-being, emotional stability, and lifelong happiness in carefully chosen homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding through my sister, who raised Boston Terriers for over 12 years. She kept her final litter in memory of our original boy, Chubbs. I grew up with Boston Terriers as loyal companions, and they made my childhood unforgettable. That deep love for the breed grew over time and naturally became a shared family passion to continue their legacy with intention, passion and care.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is so special and unique because it’s built on a lifelong love for Boston Terriers and the way they truly become family. We grew up with them as loyal, honest companions, shaping our deep respect for the breed. Our focus is on intentional pairings, health, temperament, and raising well-socialized puppies in a hands-on home environment rooted in care and love.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and seal and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Monica & Amaya
Monica & Amaya has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Monica & Amaya partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We begin the matching process once buyers are screened and approved, and once each puppy’s temperament can be clearly assessed, usually around 3–6 weeks of age. At or before this time, families are invited to share their preferences and expectations for their puppy. We then thoughtfully combine that information with each puppy’s individual temperament, confidence, and personality to ensure the best possible long-term fit for both the puppy and the family. Final selections are confirmed at 7 weeks before go-home at 8 weeks. Approved families will receive next steps, including reservations details and deposit information.”
Price
“Pet-only, CKC registered companions, first vaccinations included. Raised in a loving home, well-socialized, and started on potty training. They go home with food, toys, and blankets from their litter for comfort. A $400 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. This secures your pick in the litter and is applied toward the final purchase price.”

About Bobo
Our male is a well-balanced, confident boy with a gentle, steady temperament. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, often seeking out his people for close companionship. He has a playful side and enjoys a good game, especially if there’s a ball involved—he’s definitely a bit of a “ball hog” at heart. He also has that playful puppy energy to the core. He is very social and enjoys making new friends, whether it’s people or other dogs. His friendly, easygoing nature makes him a wonderful example of the Boston Terrier temperament we value so deeply.

About Dolce
Our female is full of personality—sassy, smart, and incredibly eager to please. She’s a true fetch fan and loves staying active, but she also has a cozy side, often burrowing under blankets when it’s time to relax. She is very social and loves meeting new people, pets, and experiencing new places with confidence and curiosity. She’s high energy but also knows how to settle beautifully, making her well-balanced and well-trained. She is adaptable and adventurous, great with babies and kids, and naturally understands boundaries and personal space. She also has a very empathetic, sensitive side and is deeply in tune with her family, often offering comfort and affection when it’s needed most.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Profile, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
