Saracen English Cocker Spaniels & Irish Water Spaniels

I'm Susan S., the breeder behind Saracen English Cocker Spaniels & Irish Water Spaniels located in Menomonee Falls, WI. Bob and I have had and bred field dogs for over 35 years. We are passionate about hunting and competing with our dogs. We do not have a kennel as such; all puppies are raised in our home. English Cocker Spaniels are wonderful sweet little guys – the "merry cocker" around the house or in the field. They are biddable, eager to learn, natural bird finders, and the "pocket rocket" in the field. We imported our foundation girl, Elan Rosie, from the Elan Kennel in the UK. Bob handled her in trials and hunt tests here and she became FC Elan Rosie MH. When planning a litter, we continue to combine the English and American working English Cocker Spaniel lines. We are AKC Breeders of Merit. I have had Irish Water Spaniels for 45 years. Our dogs have excelled in all venues of competition – field, hunting, obedience, rally obedience, tracking, agility and conformation in addition to being wonderful family companions. They love their families and thrive in an environment where they are actively involved in family activities. When planning a litter, health, soundness, temperament, and working abilities are top priorities. Thus, we choose sires who have wonderful temperaments, excel in performance venues, are beautiful and conform to the breed standard. We are AKC Breeders of Merit.
