I'm Nicole J., the breeder behind Sassifras Boston Terriers located in Newton Grove, NC. Here at Sassifras Boston Terriers, we take pride in raising healthy and happy members of future families. Our dogs are our joy! Our very first Boston was Sassy, hence the name Sassifras Boston Terriers. She was the reason I fell in love with the breed and the start of making many families complete. We take a lot of pride in providing healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies. We only have a few litters a year so that each puppy gets the love and attention it deserves.

Why did you start breeding?
Our very first Boston was Sassy, hence the name Sassifras Boston Terriers. She was the reason I fell in love with the breed and the start of making many families complete.What makes your program special?
We take a lot of pride in providing healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies. We only have a few litters a year so that each puppy gets the love and attention it deserves. Our parents come from a long line of proven bloodlines and are all JHC-clear.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include seal and white, brindle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
