I'm Scott M., the breeder behind Scott And Tammy's Lil Yorkies located in Talladega, AL. All our dogs are cherished pets first and foremost. They are health tested and receive regular veterinary care. We work with our vet ensuring our breeding practices are responsible and ethical. Our puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, and examined by a licensed veterinarian before going to new homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started breeding Min Pins in 2000 and found the energy level was too hyper for most of our potential owners and 8 years later fell in love with Yorkies. We saw a need for local seniors and nursing homes for the emotional therapy these little ones bring.

  • What makes your program special?

    🐾 It means the world to us to know that these puppies will be more than just a pet—they'll be a companion, a source of joy, and, we hope, a comforting presence in your life. This isn’t just a business to us. It’s a calling. We raise each puppy with prayer, love, and great care—because We believe these animals are gifts from God, meant to bless the lives of those they touch.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tan and white, liver, chocolate and tan, chocolate, tan and white, parti, tan, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Scott

Scott has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Scott partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

All shots up to date, dewormed, Fully Registerable , Health records provided, Socialization with various people of different ages and other animals, house training has started, puppy starter kit includes blanket with scent of momma and siblings, probably one of the lowest offers around with so much invested.     Scott and Tammy were wonderful to work with and helped me find the perfect addition to our family. They were available and informative before, during and after picking up Bandit to take him home. They sent me home with a care package and all of the information needed for him right away. And we are over the moon in love! He is healthy, happy, social and a sweet velcro dog. He loves to cuddle but is definitely a “bandit” as his favorite past time is stealing socks. He is a bundle of energy and zoomies. His first night home with us, he slept the whole night through in his crate and he has ever since. He will climb into it at night when he is ready to sleep… unless he is trying to jockey for a spot on the bed. He is doing really well with house training but it is a process especially with Yorkies but he is doing great! I would recommend Scott and Tammy if you’re looking for a solid reliable couple who truly care about their dogs and your future puppy.

    For us, this fur baby adoption was an answer to prayer: we lost our young daughter & adopted her child, & then my husband was also called home. My 10-year-old grandbaby went into a heartbroken crisis, & i decided to adopt a puppy for her as part of her grief therapy. We found Scott & Tammy’s Lil Yorkies on this site & flipped over a photo of a beautiful Yorkie puppy boy. They were the kindest & most thoughtful couple, consummate professionals, & their love for their fur babies was tangible. We knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else. Our Yorkie baby is lovable, beautiful, smart, funny & I genuinely think part angel. Granddaughter & pup are inseparable & he’s helping her little heart heal & fills in the void. I cannot recommend this couple & their line of Yorkies enough. May everyone who reads this be blessed, and have their heart & arms filled with one of these perfect little fur angels (our Latte is so gorgeous, people have mistaken him for a stuffed animal several times).     Scott and his wife are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. They went out of their way to make sure that the dog was going to a good home and that we had all the information we could want.     Scott and Tammy are absolutely amazing!! My lil Julius is thriving and joyful. They are very knowledgeable breeders, it was my first time getting a yorkie.
