I'm Scott M., the breeder behind Scott And Tammy's Lil Yorkies located in Talladega, AL. All our dogs are cherished pets first and foremost. They are health tested and receive regular veterinary care. We work with our vet ensuring our breeding practices are responsible and ethical. Our puppies are vaccinated, dewormed, and examined by a licensed veterinarian before going to new homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started breeding Min Pins in 2000 and found the energy level was too hyper for most of our potential owners and 8 years later fell in love with Yorkies. We saw a need for local seniors and nursing homes for the emotional therapy these little ones bring.

  • What makes your program special?

    🐾 It means the world to us to know that these puppies will be more than just a pet—they'll be a companion, a source of joy, and, we hope, a comforting presence in your life. This isn’t just a business to us. It’s a calling. We raise each puppy with prayer, love, and great care—because We believe these animals are gifts from God, meant to bless the lives of those they touch.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tan and white, liver, chocolate and tan, chocolate, tan and white, parti, tan, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Scott

Scott has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Scott partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

All shots up to date, dewormed, Fully Registerable , Health records provided, Socialization with various people of different ages and other animals, house training has started, puppy starter kit includes blanket with scent of momma and siblings, probably one of the lowest offers around with so much invested.     For us, this fur baby adoption was an answer to prayer: we lost our young daughter & adopted her child, & then my husband was also called home.     Scott and his wife are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.     I know the stress of wanting to find the perfect new fur baby for your family and making sure that it is a puppy that comes from a good breeder. So I wanted to make it a little easier for anyone else looking. We looked for quite some time for a Yorkie puppy, that would ultimately be a gift for my husband. We finally came across Scott and Tammy's Lil Yorkies on Good Dog and we found our precious Cyrus! We get so many compliments on what a handsome Yorkie he is! Every vet check up has gone great as well! We truly got a beautiful healthy boy from Scott and Tammy! Oh and his little/BIg personality has brought us so much joy! He may have been bought for dad, but he is adored and doted on by all! Scott and Tammy were amazing from the start to end! They brought the puppy to us to meet before we even made a decision. Which of course we fell in love! Scott and Tammy are just the most down to earth kind people that really go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your new fur baby and they don't pressure you at all. They made it an easy process and we are so happy with our decision. It is obvious that they take much pride in the care given to their puppies!
