Meet the breeder

I'm Kathy, the breeder behind Diamond Cavaliers located in Temecula, CA. I was a vet tech for 14 years in small animal medicine. I understand the responsibility that comes with breeding. I breed healthy, well socialized Cavaliers with European import bloodlines. I show my dogs & seek to better the breed with each litter I produce. Pups have vet exam/mostly potty trained.

Q. & A. with Kathy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bred world champion horses for many years before breeding Cavaliers, and have been breeding cavaliers for over 16 years. understanding conformation (how the animal is put together) is extremely important in pairing successful breeding's and avoiding locomotion issues.
  • What makes your program special?

I have a veterinary background, multi species breeding background (World Champion horses and Grand Champion and Champion cavaliers). Breeding is an art, a science and requires understanding of disease and veterinary concepts, so my many years of veterinary technician experience is very useful in what i do.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

There are only a few slight differences with energy level and introvert/extrovert/in-between, we can discuss and match the right pup to the right family, although of course the ultimate choice is yours!”
