Q. & A. with Gabbie & Jake
Why did you start breeding?
It started with Dachshunds—clever, bold, and full of heart. Then came Curly Coated Retrievers: elegant, intuitive, and ready for meaningful work. I breed to honor both, shaping dogs with soundness, spirit, and purpose.
What makes your program special?
We prioritize health and quality from the start. All our parent dogs are tested through OFA and Embark to ensure strong genetics and sound structure. As a vet assistant and dog trainer, I focus on early housebreaking, grooming exposure, and socialization. Our home is full of love—dogs big and small, and my daughter helping every step of the way. It’s a family effort, and every pup is raised with care.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
