Shakespeare's Cavaliers

Meet the breeder

I'm Heidi P., the breeder behind Shakespeare's Cavaliers located in Layton, UT. We love to play with our dogs at AKC competitions like Rally, Obedience, FastCat, Trick Dog, and conformation. Our litters are spaced so each puppy gets maximum exposure to early training and socialization. We breed to maximize health and beauty, inside and out. Our dogs are beloved pets and family!

Q. & A. with Heidi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had my own Cavalier King Charles and fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. After my first Cavalier, I started doing research on the breed and became fascinated with showing and my love for the breed continued, and still continues, to grow.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs and puppies are considered members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Cavalier line.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
