I'm Julie C., the breeder behind Shangri-La Lhasa Apsos located in Cincinnati, OH. I have been breeding for over 20 years. All of my lhasa apso's are grand champion or champion backgrounds. Many of my puppies have been to the show ring, have become loyal and loveable best friends, we offer puppies as service and emotional support dogs.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding larger dogs and then moved to lhasa's when the doctor recommended that a smaller dog would be great for my husband. Lhasa's are amazing dogs and have helped my husband and countless other combat veterans! I breed for temperament and conformation to keep to the breeds origins.

  • What makes your program special?

    Lhasa's intelligence and playful nature plus a little big of lhasatude sprinkled in make this dog an absolute joy to be around. My program is special because I work with veterans, police officers and firemen who have suffered from some kind of disability and we work to bring a lhasa into their home to offer them the same sort of support that has helped my husband and other's like him.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white, red gold, red, grizzle, cream, black and tan, black, and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
