I'm Sharleen A., the breeder behind Sharleen's Paw-fect Shih Tzus located in Defuniak Springs, FL. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our dogs have proven to be the greatest companions to our family. We started breeding to contribute to breed betterment and to share smart and loveable puppies with other families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My family has always raised dogs, predominantly large breeds for companionship. We purchased our first Shih Tzu about seven years ago and absolutely fell in love. When we started looking for our second puppy, we realized it was almost impossible to find a Shih Tzu that hadn't come from a puppy mill. We were fortunate enough to find a small network of private breeders who felt the same as we did. Shih Tzus quickly became the only breed for us. We devoted our time and effort to raising healthy, and affordable shihtzu accessible to everyone.

  • What makes your program special?

    I have a selection of dames of various colors that were all raised in our home. We selectively breed our pets based on the demand for colors and size. With that being said, the litters are exclusive. We only breed one litter at a time to guarantee that each puppy receives the care and attention it deserves.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver, blue, red, black and white, black gold and silver, and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
