The family who owns and operates Sharp Ridge are incredibly caring and patient people. Willing to answer any and all questions and even going out of their way to contact us when a puppy became available earlier than expected.

After loosing my rottie last July, I was on a search for our new family member! I was struggling due to the irresponsible breeding in the states. I value a healthy and friendly dog over cost. I wanted health certifications on both parents. It seemed like the best bet was to order overseas since the standards of breeding is extremely higher. However logistics were next to impossible. When I started searching in the US, I had very high expectations. My non-negotiable were hip, elbow, heart, lung certifications, imported parents and wanted both onsite to meet them and get to know their personalities! (Not extreme 🤣) After a few months of searching, I found Sharp Ridge Rottweilers! All of my non-negotiables are their foundation, but also included optical. When we decided to go with one of their pups, I couldn’t have asked for better communication, from breeding updates, pregnancy pictures and weekly puppy updates! We drove 8 hours each way to pick out our puppy, bc for me, meeting parents and seeing personalities is so important on knowing the personality of our new fur baby. When we pulled up to the kennel, I immediately hopped out of the car. My husband said they have a Rottie out, I immediately stated I am buying their puppy. I need to know if they are friendly! Bumbocks walked right up to me, sniffed and licked me, then calmly walked away! We picked out our puppy and then I got to meet Ginger! She was so wonderful, she laid in my lap and just wanted to get belly rubs! We went back two weeks later to pick our sweet boy up. Everything was smooth, I cannot begin to say enough about how well the kennel is kept, the dogs are always in and out. They give you information, ensure success for your little one. Where so many give breeders give promises and don’t really follow through. Sharp Ridge truly DOES back up everything with their beautiful friendly dogs! You can tell they love the dogs and it was the most wonderful experience! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, answering endless questions, going above and beyond from everything I expected, which may have been a lot, but you provided it all! We love our little man more than imaginable!

Jerry and her team were awesome to work with. They provided frequent and thorough updates and information about the litters as they grew. It was so reassuring seeing how well they were cared for and loved before being adopted. Jerry made pickup easy and gave us very thorough instructions to care for our puppy. I would recommend Jerry to anyone looking for a well bred Rottweiler puppy.

Sharp Ridge is not your average breeder! I have been purchasing purebred dogs for several decades, and I am truly impressed It is obvious that they are truly committed to breeding excellent Rottweilers with great care regarding health, temperament and structure. Their many years of experience show in every detail. I love the transparency of their website; they are not hiding anything. You can easily find a dog’s pedigree and health certificates with just one click. Almost everything you want to know is at your fingertips; and for those extra questions, Katie is very quick to respond and extremely knowledgeable. She is a delight to work with, and so happy she helped me select my wonderful pup. Their kennel is beautifully maintained, and you can tell that their dogs get the very best care. What amazed me the most was their attention to early socialization of the puppies. They put in a lot of work into early development, and it shows. My 8-week-old pup excelled in his temperament and puppy aptitude test. Not even the spooky umbrella shook him. As expected, he is adjusting amazingly well to his new home and meeting everything new with great confidence and curiosity. Okay, so perhaps a little too much confidence—he climbed out of a 24” puppy pen because he wanted to be with me as I worked in the yard. I can highly recommend Sharp Ridge Rottweilers for your next Rottie. You will not be disappointed.
