I'm Jerry K., the breeder behind Sharp Ridge Rottweilers located in Catawissa, PA. Our parent Rottweilers are imported from Europe and come from excellent pedigrees. They have received the proper health testing and have excellent temperaments. Our Rottweilers love being free on the family farm. Our puppies receive lots of socialization and desensitization.

We focus on our core values of health, temperament, and structure. And our dogs are mated accordingly. Our dogs are of fine European pedigree. We do all the health testing available for this breed.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Jerry partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Litter update on 21 Apr •…Bumboks and Ginger’s puppies are thriving and doing great 😀! Ginger has so much milk for them right now and is such a wonderful mom! She is content to lie with her puppies, nuzzling them and keeping them clean! They are doing great for their age and their socialization has included some visits from our friends’ little children who have loved them and are conniving to make plans for future visits 😉. Ginger has this thing of bringing home toys for her pups. However, when it comes down to it, it’s really hard to share your toy with your babies.

Litter update on 18 Apr •…Zephyr’s puppies are such a delight, they’re up on their little feet and starting to have a little puppy games! Everybody has a mouthful of teeth! Zephyr spends hours just lying with them and sleeping 😴.

Litter update on 12 Apr •…We along with Giselle her happy as can be that her puppies arrived safely on Thursday morning! We could tell that Giselle was in labor on Wednesday evening. And she started having her puppies at 3 AM Thursday morning. All 9 of them were safely here by 8 AM :-). There’s five boys and four girls in this litter and at two days old they are all doing great. Now it is Ginger’s turned to be the curious sister! Giselle is doing very well. She has taken to motherhood without a hitch. I keep being thankful again and again how these girls are such wonderful mothers. It’s so special to have mother dogs who were born here and who are so strong and healthy. We haven’t always been so blessed.

Litter update on 12 Apr •…Ginger and Bumboks’ puppies are growing so fast! It is hard to imagine how much they have actually changed in one week’s time! It is so impressive that Ginger has so much milk for these fat babies. She has a good appetite and often these little ones have milky whiskers. They sleep and sleep, but also like to be cuddled and have their paws rubbed. Since the puppies are so well fed, Ginger has her work cut out for her to keep these puppies clean lol. However she’s doing very well at keeping after their needs!

Program update on 02 Apr •…Voo and Zephyr’s pups are fat and flourishing😀! They are 2 weeks old tonight and it looks like their eyes are in the beginning stages of opening! They just sleep and sleep most of the time. Except when we hold them or when mom is caring for them. Zephyr is such a wonderful mom! She has so much milk that she has to share it with our another litter, her puppies just can’t drink it all lol! Zephyr is such a good girl and she is willing nurse any puppy who needs it😂 it’s very sweet because when Zephyr had her first litter she needed another dog to nurse her little ones too! Zephyr‘s puppies are scheduled for their vet exams on May 4. Families, hoping to get a puppy from this litter can expect to choose their puppy on May 16 and take him/her home the same day! If you want to choose between puppies in different litters, you can also plan a visit to choose your puppy that weekend and then if you choose a puppy from one of the younger litters, you would need to return for it when it’s eight weeks old or older.

Litter update on 02 Apr •…Ginger’s litter arrived safely yesterday morning! The pups’ birth weights were 303g to 375g! These lovely, big pups have the big heads that their parents guarantee😀. If you hoping for a puppy from this litter, you can expect to choose your puppy weekend of May 15 and 16 after the puppies have received their first veterinary exams and cardiac checks. This litter of puppies can leave their mommy on May 29, 30 or after. We will be posting updates on this litter’s development on weekends in the next 8 weeks!

Voo is a huge, handsome Rottweiler male. When you meet Voo, he will sit his big self and your feet and lick you very gently with his huge tongue. A a son of International Champion Brendon Timit Tor and grandson of International Champion Doctor Timit Tor, Voo Teren is a very promising 2 year old male. Voo is well on the way to becoming as large as his 150 pound father. Voo has excellent structure, excellent hips & elbows, and moves with ease and speed! He is super gentle and loving with people, cats, and puppies. We couldn't be more pleased with Voo Teren!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

My husband and I always knew we wanted a Rottweiler, but were new to the world of breeders and pedigrees. After searching for almost a year, it was hard to find dogs with their tails intact (a non-negotiable for us), or we'd find out their their lineage was unknown/muddy enough that their future health may be in question. Finding Sharp Ridge felt markedly different from anywhere else we'd been exploring. The dogs on their website were all beautiful, strong, and had comprehensive medical records! They were outspoken about their dogs all keeping their tails, and we loved seeing them hold their clients to the same standard! We felt safe and confident when making our choice, and were able to receive updates on Weselka and her litter from birth up to when we picked up our puppy 8 weeks later. Visiting the farm, Katie and several family members gave us a warm welcome and let us not only meet the litter, but several of the adult dogs on the property as well. Rottweilers can be intimidating at first glance, but each dog that met us was calm and so wonderfully sweet! It gave us great confidence to see their relaxed temperaments while meeting us, and we knew we made the right choice choosing Sharp Ridge! Since bringing home Joosh, we've seen him excel at learning his foundational training, and we are so excited to watch him grow into a wonderful family dog!

This was the best experience. Sharp Ridge Rottweilers were able to answer our every question and provide additional information. You can see the care they have for all their animals. When we went to pick out our puppy we got introduced to the mom and the uncle. They were so loving and sweet. We were able to find our little Da Vinci. He has been the sweetest boy, and has taken to all our kids. From start to finish we would highly recommend them to everyone.

Jerry and Katie were great to work with . They were very knowledgeable and responsive. The kennels were very clean. They supplied us with a binder filled with pictures, vet records, and family tree . We couldn’t ask for anything more. Vuk is a beautiful puppy . He’s smart , very good temperament like his parents , very trainable. He loves to tug and get his naps in!
