Expected Australian Shepherd litter
Due Oct. 2026
I'm Holly M., the breeder behind Shawnkara Australian Shepherds located in Monroe, UT. We breed for quality not quantity, temperament, structure & a sound dog. Our dogs are not just a pretty face but dogs you can live with! Dad & I have been doing this for over 30 plus years. We registered our kennel name is 1990. We do not take breeding of a litter lightly. We breed for our own program, & to continue a line we have worked towards for over 30 years. We feel each litter to be a lifetime commitment. We strive to place our puppies in homes that want to do it all. Hike, Camp, Obedience, Rally & even some service to help others. We do not keep tails on our puppies, so do not ask us too! We do adhere to the breed standard. Occasionally we have adults available for adoption. All puppies and older dogs are sold on spay/neuter contracts. We do not sell on eye color all our dogs can have a variation of Amber/Brown to Marbled amber/blue or but do not expect two blue eyes. We do have a contract you must sign and agree to, upon getting one of our beautiful puppies. Breeding rights are discussed on a case by case basis. Privately! After submitting an application you have 12 hours to get back to my first message. If you do not I will assume you are no longer interested. I will move you then to my does not fit list. I will not be ghosted or put up with tire kickers. Thank for your time!

All dogs are getting new digs. They sleep inside at night. And come in during the heat of the day. But Ty’s nose was getting ruined by the sun. So moving my kennels to my patio and getting sunscreens was the only option.

Peter Pan is relaxing. He flies out in the morning going to his new owner and home. Motel clerk fell in love with him. Of course he was all kisses and bouncy.

We had a wonderful experience getting our puppy from Holly. She was incredibly easy to work with, honest, knowledgeable, and very upfront about everything throughout the entire process. Every question we had was answered thoroughly, and she provided excellent information and support before and after bringing our puppy home. You can truly tell she cares deeply about her dogs and about placing her puppies in the right homes. Our puppy, Blaze, is sweet, smart, confident, and clearly came from a loving and well cared for environment. We would absolutely recommend Holly to anyone looking for a quality puppy and a breeder who genuinely cares about her dogs and her puppy families.

Holly is amazing! This is my first time raising a dog, let alone a puppy, and Holly went above and beyond helping me get things sorted out and prepared. Rikki (my pup) has been such a good little girl, and I’m already so impressed by how well adjusted and socialized she is at just 8 weeks. I think that speaks a lot to the work Holly puts in those first 8 weeks as well as the quality bloodlines Rikki comes from. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Holly was very responsive from our first outreach. She was flexible & willing to meet us halfway from an 8hr drive, which was wonderful! We have had our pup for a week now & the whole experience has been great. Thank you, Holly!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Holly. This is our fifth Aussie -fourth different breeder - and it was by far the best experience we've had. Holly clearly loves her puppies, and it shows. She is also discerning about potentials buyers. I was so impressed with her attitude that I flew halfway across the country to pick up our puppy. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a puppy that had just been groomed and with a packet that included a blanket, leash, water bowl, chew toys, treats and up-to-date paperwork. It made the long trip home much easier. We have now had our puppy for nine days. He is incredibly bright, happy and, of course, energetic. We could not have asked for more. We would definitely work with Holly again.

Hi! My name is Kierstin, and I got Stevie from Shawnkara Australian shepherds! Holly was very educational, answered all the questions I had, and made me feel comfortable asking even more! She was amazing! She met us half way in Grand Junction, which made the transfer smoother. Thank you so much for helping me pick the right pup! Stevie is doing wonderful!

It was a pleasure dealing with Holly. She explained everything about the breed. Kept me informed with pictures of the dog I wanted. When time came to deliver they brought the dog down to me to pick up. Made it so easy for me.
