Meet the breeder

I'm Shawn F., the breeder behind Shawn’s Toy Schnauzers’s located in Contra Costa County, CA. I breed small AKC Toy Schnauzers that are lovingly raised in my home. They are healthy, intelligent, and cute as can be! I built my program with care and intention in every step. I am passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and I want my program to be an example of how to responsibly breed quality, healthy dogs.

Q. & A. with Shawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I love this breed! My dogs have brought me so much love and happiness that I decided to start my own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. Every litter is always a little different, but it is so fulfilling to see the different personalities and such a joy and challenge to hand-raise each puppy. I love watching them blossom!
  • What makes your program special?

My program is built with love from the ground up. I care deeply about responsible breeding, and I do everything I can to ensure my dogs and puppies are getting the best care in every aspect of their lives with me. I am confident that each puppy will become a treasured family member!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
