I'm Rachelle, the breeder behind Shelli's Puppies located in Shipshewana, IN. It is important to breed healthy, breed standard, well socialized puppies. Pups interact with the family throughout the day. They are exposed to various sounds (television, music, kitchen household noises, vacuum cleaner, and we play thunder and firework sounds so they are not afraid.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Years ago I started working for a local big breeder and learned from the ground up. From how to keep clean kennels with safe products for puppy exposure, bedding, deworming protocals, vaccines, puppy checkups, learning about preventing Giardia and Coccidia etc. I got established with a local vet and asked more questions and learned much more.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am hands on 24 hours a day. I have raised my children and now I raise an occasional litter. I do not employ workers. My dogs and my pups are my pride and joy. I introduce sensory, sounds and socializing from the time pups are born. They are well taken care of, loved, and kept clean. I work from my home so the pups are never left alone. Each pup is loved and cuddled with daily.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rachelle

Rachelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,450 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming treatments. The deposit removes the puppy from being advertised and sold to someone else. The deposit is deducted from the original amount owed and only the balance will be due.”

Contract & health guarantee

Rachelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
