Meet the breeder

I'm Tiffany Z., the breeder behind Shelter Cove Aussies located in Springfield, OR. Hand raised in our family home, our AKC Australian Shepherds are loved from day one. Raising these incredible dogs teaches my kids responsibility and integrity, while frequent visits from friends ensure every pup is wonderfully socialized. Backed by Embark testing and lifetime support!

Q. & A. with Tiffany

  • Why did you start breeding?

Driven by a deep love for the breed, I started breeding because Aussies are remarkably smart, loyal, and amazing with kids. Raising them teaches my children values like responsibility and integrity. Our puppies are raised in-home, well-socialized by friends, Embark-tested, and mostly doggy-door potty trained before heading home. Plus, you’ll always have our lifetime support!
  • What makes your program special?

Our program combines high-tech safety with hands-on love! We utilize 24/7 phone-monitored camera systems to track nursery climate and keep eyes on mom and pups constantly. Puppies transition seamlessly from our indoor living area to safe outdoor play through early doggy-door conditioning, giving them a huge head start on independence and house manners before joining you.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black & white, black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had a really really wonderful experience working with Tiffany. She is incredibly responsive and always takes the time to answer all of my questions, big or small, which made me feel very supported. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful, especially when it came to recommending the right deworming medication and guiding me through the process. I truly appreciated how transparent she was throughout everything. What stood out the most is how accurately she described the puppy’s personality. What she told me matched exactly with how my Pepper behaves now, which shows how well she knows and cares for her dogs. It’s very clear that the puppies are raised in a loving and well-cared-for environment. I felt confident and reassured every step of the way. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and trustworthy breeder

Tiffany was wonderful. She kept us updated on our new family member and was so patient and knowledgeable. And our new puppy, Shadow, is incredible. She came to us at 10 weeks, and was already house-trained; comes when called; and hasn’t left my side. She was obviously well cared-for and loved. I would highly recommend Tiffany and Shelter Cove Aussies to anyone looking for that special companion.

Tiffany was so easy to work with. She answered all my questions throughout the process and was incredibly flexible with my schedule upon pickup. From the moment I first reached out, she was quick to reply, clear, and patient while I took the time to decide. They genuinely care about their dogs, and it shows in every step of the process. Milo is socialized, confident, and clearly well-loved. His health check was flawless, and his temperament is exactly what was promised—sweet, playful, and intelligent. It's obvious they prioritize health, temperament, and placing their dogs in the best environments. The adoption process itself was effortless and straightforward. I received detailed instructions, all the necessary paperwork (health guarantees, vet records, AKC paperwork and great resources for training and care). There were no surprises, and I felt supported every step of the way. If you're looking for a responsible breeder who makes the journey of finding your perfect companion stress-free, look no further! I couldn't be happier with my new family member.

We got our puppy healthy and full of energy. Tiffany was very flexible with scheduling our meetup and even went to our hotel to hand our puppy themselves. She bathed Summer (our puppy) before our meetup so she came in fresh and very fluffy!
