I'm Alina E., the breeder behind Shepherd's Heart Beaucerons located in Downers Grove, IL. I am dedicated to breading puppies with love and care, focusing on their health, wellness, and holistic development. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where each puppy can thrive, ensuring they grow into happy, well-adjusted companions. Puppies are available from 10 to 16 weeks of age.
Q. & A. with Alina
Why did you start breeding?
Myka, my incredible medical alert dog, has been my lifeline. Inspired by her, I decided to find her an equally wonderful mate to raise and train one of her offspring as future service dog. Choosing which puppy to keep was a heartfelt challenge, but I'm excited for the journey ahead!
What makes your program special?
What makes us different, is my commitment to holistic care, honed over 35 years of practice. I feed my dogs a raw food diet of organic, pasture-raised ingredients, designed by a certified nutritionist to meet each dog's individual needs. We administer only the absolutely necessary vaccines, and by prioritizing sound genetics and temperament, I aim to create healthy, happy dogs for loving families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
