I'm Sullin L., the breeder behind Shiba Inu Loving Care located in Elizabeth, NJ. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members. Also, we are willing to travel to you 😀.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Through our dog Mieko and Chika, we fell very passionate and confident that we can have healthy pups and make sure for each one to have a wonderful home.

  • What makes your program special?

    We care, we put so much love, we want to make sure the families will love these puppies as much as we do. We also, care for them in a home, with family and so when they go to their new home they will be very sweet, great with kids and very much stimulated. They grow inside our home and along with their other siblings and mom and dad. These dogs are not regular dogs, they are very special and we truly believe that if you choose one of them is because it was meant to be.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, black and tan, and sesame. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the deworming, vet checked, vaccines. Also, you will receive all the paperwork for the puppies and the mom and dad. All puppies are the same Price. However, a higher deposit will be required if travel is needed.”

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Profile, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I found Sullin after a really long search to add a second Shiba into our home. Being in New Jersey ourselves, it seemed like it was meant to be! Sullin was extremely responsive and asked a lot of great questions to make sure that we could provide our puppy with the best possible home. I really appreciated her concern over the quality of life her puppies were going to have once they left her care. She also provided a lot of breed specific insight into what having multiple Shiba’s in the same home would be like for us and she made great recommendations that helped us in selecting the right puppy for our family. While Winston was growing, we got regular updates about his health, his personality, and how he was interacting with his siblings.     The entire experience with Sullin was amazing. I feel like in addition to our puppy we have a new friend. We got multiple updates a week from Izumi’s birth right up until we picked him up. Izumi is super chill, well socialized, potty trained and SO Loving. This entire process healed our broken hearts after losing our beloved Shiba, Koji in December.     Sullen answered my call right away. She gave me a tour of her dogs accommodations. They live with her which helps so much in my new puppy’s understanding of household noises. Sullen answered all my questions and delivered her to my home. Suki, her new name, is adjusting quickly to her new routine. Sullen is very help answering questions about ways to smooth Suki’s transition.
