Shomaisou Shiba Inu

Manami is a confident, intelligent, and beautifully balanced Shiba Inu who represents the qualities we strive to preserve in our breeding program. An AKC Champion with both Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Trick Dog Novice (TKN) titles, she combines correct breed type, sound structure, and stable temperament with a wonderful willingness to engage and learn. Manami is outgoing, affectionate with her people, and carries the spirited confidence and natural awareness the Shiba Inu is known for. She has proven herself both in the show ring and as a companion, demonstrating the versatility and temperament essential to our preservation breeding goals. As part of our program, Manami undergoes comprehensive health testing and is carefully evaluated for structure, movement, temperament, and breed type in accordance with the AKC Breed Standard. She represents generations of thoughtful pedigree planning focused on producing healthy, stable, and correct Shiba Inu capable of excelling as companions, performance dogs, and conformation competitors. At home, she is an active and engaged member of the family who enjoys enrichment activities, training, and spending time with her people. Her combination of beauty, intelligence, and temperament makes her a very special part of the Shomaisou program.

Oami is a highly feminine, balanced female who represents the core priorities of the Shomaisou breeding program—correct structure, stable temperament, and breed-typical expression without exaggeration. She presents with a clean, moderate frame, good substance without heaviness, and the kind of natural balance that allows her to move efficiently and hold herself correctly without effort. Her proportions are correct, with a well-set neck, level topline, and proper tail carriage that completes her outline. Expression & Type Oami’s expression is one of her defining traits. She has: * Correctly set, small triangular ears * Dark, well-shaped eyes * A confident, aware demeanor Together, these produce a true Shiba expression—alert, composed, and quietly confident rather than sharp or reactive. Temperament She is stable, thoughtful, and environmentally sound: * Not overly pushy or dominant * Not soft or unsure * Demonstrates good recovery and adaptability Oami reads situations well, which makes her particularly valuable in producing puppies that transition cleanly into a variety of homes—including more structured companion homes and performance-oriented placements. Movement On the move, she is: * Light and efficient * Balanced coming and going * Free of wasted motion She maintains her topline and carriage, reinforcing her structural correctness. Stella is a female Shiba Inu almost 4 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Rex decided to make her part of their program. Rex has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

A very calm and confident girl, until recently, the best temperament we have here, but she now has competition from our new Kuro daughter, a sesame girl named Gift. We have the structure here, but are focusing on the temperaments now.

ayay Ee GT (Red only, cream and long hair carrier). Lavender is a young bitch, a Champion at 7 months and Grand Champion by 10 months old. The parent club minimum health testing is completed and exceeded.

A very non-typical Shiba, breaks every Shiba stereotype there is. Loves water, loves Coursing Ability Testing and Fast CAT even more. He is my kayak buddy and heart dog (On the Shiba side). This boy is very solid and has more bone than anything else I have. Loves people, but he takes inventory, if you move anything in the house like a piece of furniture or garbage can in the yard, he abruptly stops and lets you know there is something out of place.
