I'm Maryna W., the breeder behind Shooting Star Ranch located in Morgan, TX. As conscientious breeders, we are proud of the loving, smart, beautiful, and healthy puppies we’re able to provide for others. Our breeding program started with one small litter that turned into a fulfilling, lifelong passion! We believe there’s no greater joy than providing families with companions that share unconditional love no matter what. We live on a 5 acres by the lake Whitney, TX . We have lots of threes and a big pond where our dogs and puppies have fun and enjoy swimming. Also, we have chickens and gazillions of squirrels.

What makes your program special?
Puppies raised by Shooting Star Ranch are temperament evaluated and placed in family based on their personality and drive. New owners will have a life breeder support. Puppies are given only the best nutrition, Mom's milk, delicious mush, high quality kibble and treats. We start potty training when puppies are 3 weeks old. They become familiar with a doggy door. These puppies are regularly receiving baths, nail trimming and lots of kisses. Our program includes a crate and an early basic manners training and get them well-prepped for a smooth transition to their forever homes. We do early ENS( Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI Early Scent Introduction and ESS (Early sound stimulation) starting from the 3rd day of life. Please contact us if you need an advance training like walking on/off leash, heel, stay, obedience and commands of your needs. We will provide new owners with information and materials how to raise your puppy, vaccines and de-worming schedule and much more to help you to get prepared for your new furry family member.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, slate merle, black and white, blue merle, red merle, sable, and sable merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Maryna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Maryna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. Comet is the sweetest ever! He loves to cuddle and get belly rubbing. He is obedient and a great companion to go on vacations with. He likes hiking, swimming, running and going on a boat adventure. He has a strong herding instinct. Also, he's an excellent nanny. It's so adorable watching him playing with puppies and grooming them.

Snow ( Koa III registered with AKC name) is a handsome, loyal and very obedient boy. He steals the show and melts everybody's heart. Snow is deeply affectionate to his people and strives to please them at any cost by giving kisses or staying close to comfort them. His herding ability at a medium, while he possesses a high drive in Agility, Frisbee and catching balls. In addition, he is an excellent car rider which is a bonus as we often take him on long trips to mountains. Snow's previous puppies demonstrate an exceptional intelligence, beauty, and a high drive which makes them potential in sport/performance. Snow has been tested for health by Optimal Selection Canine Genetic Breeding Analysis.

About Windy
This is Windy, Sable Masked Saddleback Border Collie. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, we decided to make her part of our program. Windy is very playful and agile girl. She loves frisbee and obsessed with balls. Also, she shows an interest in herding and for now she herds only chickens due to the fact that's all we have. Her name Windy perfectly describes her personality, she wants to be at many places at the same time and see what is going on around. Puppies from Windy would have a high potential in sports and in working livestock as well. Also they are expected to have a wonderful temperament and be extremely trainable.

About Nelya
Nelya is an absolute star at the Shooting Star Ranch. Nelya is a registered member of the AKC and has been tested for health by Optimal Selection Canine Genetic Breeding Analysis. Both Nelya's parents are coming from working lines. Her mother is from Cattel lines and her father's dam worked cattle in Idaho and his sire is from Agility lines. Nelya is very independent and her working drive is undeniable. Her high drive keeps her busy almost the entire day while in the evenings she becomes a snuggle buddy and a very affectionate soul that gives us sweet moments. Her entertaining personality makes people to laugh often. Her daily things to do are herding chickens and bringing them back to a chicken coop from a pasture every evening, She enjoys running in a pasture and swimming in a pond. Some of Nelya's puppies have shown significant signs of herding and some have potential in sport/performance or active family companionship.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

This was one the best, and most fun experiences we’ve ever had!!! This was me and my husbands first time getting a puppy together, and we loved every step of the way!!!
