I'm Victoria R., the breeder behind Silverheels Australian Shepherds located in Colorado. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy Australian Shepherd pups for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Australian Shepherds into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
My Mom was a breeders before me. I started out with a female from her Las racosa bred "Jezze" are first Aussie had titles from Park county 4-H dog group. I decided to breeder to friend dog. Jezze turned out some really nice puppies they excelled in Rally, Obedience, nose work and as family pets. I like to keep in contact with my buyers see how my dogs excel.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
