Why did you start breeding?
I love fish and started with fan tail guppies. It was amazing to watch and protect life. In 2005 I was given a breeding pair of Lovebirds and then in 2008 I bought a Shaded Red Female Dachshund puppy. She opened my eyes to the need for emotional support animals and how a Dachshund heals you from traumas and pain you didn't even know you were suppressing.What makes your program special?
I breed for temperament and conformation. I socialize with lots of different animals, cats, chickens and goats. Soon to be peacocks and ducks. Weather permitting they are socialized with children of all ages. I do not force wean my puppies.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired, wirehaired, and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, wild boar, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, fawn (isabella) and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and cream, black and cream, blue and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

+4I was so happy I found Shanice and Simply Sharing Love breeders! My own dachshund, Inara, had died, and she was my emotional support animal. I was lucky to find Shanice soon after on Good Dog, trying to find a puppy I could train to do Inara's job. I was thrilled Shanice was in my area, and she responded immediately to my request. I actually looked at another dog before I found my Persephone, but Shanice suggested I might like Persephone (then place named Kara) a bit more. She couldn't have been more right. Throughout the process, we kept in touch as I made my decision. She intimately knew each of her puppies' temperaments, and I was able to visit to confirm that Persephone was the right pup for me. All the pups were in excellent health, were well socialized and intelligent and sweet natured, showing they'd grown up in an excellent environment. Since bringing Persephone home, Shanice has been a friend, giving advice if needed, and keeping tabs on my dear little girl. Persephone is a loving, caring, and smart little thing, as well, as healthy. She is so loyal and sweet natured! I HIGHLY recommend Simply Sharing Love. If you can, absolutely trust Shanice to find you the perfect match to your personality, needs, and home. She knows what she's doing, and loves what she does, and loves the dachshund breed. As a side note, we also ended up bringing home Riley, Persephone's half sister, for my autistic son. He's blossomed so well having Riley in his life, and Riley is absolutely devoted to him.
