I'm Vian A., the breeder behind Skyridge Puppies located in California. At SkyRidge, we purposefully raise Yorkshire Terriers and Biewer Terriers with a strong focus on health, temperament, and structure. Our dogs are part of our family and are raised with daily love, attentive care, and intentional socialization from the very beginning. From selecting healthy parents with wonderful temperaments to giving each puppy a nurturing start in life, we are deeply committed to raising affectionate, well-adjusted companions and placing them in loving homes. We strive to make every step of the experience a positive one for both our puppies and the families who welcome them.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for these breeds is what brought me here. I started with Toy Poodles over 20 years ago, and years later I fell in love with the Biewer Yorkshire, now known as the Biewer Terrier, as well as the Parti Yorkie. Their beauty and sweet, affectionate personalities inspired the program I have today.What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are raised indoors as part of our family, they’re loved, handled, and spoiled shamelessly. My puppies are bred for health, temperament, and conformation. Temperament is really important to us. My puppies' temperaments have been passed down from generation to generation, making them some of the best companions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Biewer Terrier puppies include blue tan and white, black tan and white, and chocolate tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Gemmie
Gemmie is a female Yorkshire Terrier. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Vian decided to make her part of their program. Vian has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
