I'm Wendy S., the breeder behind Son Shine Farm located in Viking, MN. Son Shine Farm is located in Viking, MN. We treasure each puppy in our program. They are loved, socialized, well cared for. Our puppies are clear of genetic issues common to aussies, they are health tested before going to their new home and have all vaccinations and worming.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved Aussies. Grew up on a dairy farm and we had Border Collie/Aussies. I have a good friend that is a licenced breeder and when I left my day job to do ministry, we felt that the Lord wanted us to raise aussies. They are a blessing to us and the people who come here and to the families that puppies have gone to. That is the goal!What makes your program special?
We are small, our dogs are our pets, not just breeding dogs. They also are a part of the ministry and see so many people and are so loved. Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri and blue merle. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 12 July 2025 •…Ozzie should not be the last puppy available. He is such a pretty little guy with a curious, sweet personality, and 1 blue eye and 1 brown. He has beautiful copper points and will have a beautiful coat when he grows up. Everyone wants a merle when our little tries are so showy and pretty. He still needs his forever family to love.

Litter update on 08 July 2025 •…This pile of mini aussies is 5 weeks old! They are a gorgeous litter with the greatest temperaments. We are already working on potty training and they will be ready for their forever families the 26th. There are still some gorgeous puppies to reserve! Very socialized puppies love pwople and adventure

Litter update on 26 June 2025 •…The O litter is getting so big. Lots of blue eyes and gorgeous markings. This letter all has either a tail or a natural bob. We did not dock tails. Personalities are starting to come out and they are starting to play with one another, Bark, and want to be held.

About Willy
Willy is the cutest little guy and he is little. He is 11 inches and 11 lbs. Blue eyd red merle! He is the handsomest boy ever and a bit shy but very sweet. He came from a breeder in Utah who is retiring and im sp honored to get him. He is going to be a great addition to our program.

Grace is a gorgeous, tri colored female with beautiful deep copper. She is extremely athletic, social, and fun. She is such an athlete that she should be doing agility. I'm so excited for her first litter with oliver. They are both red factored with blue eyes.

Oliver is a gorgeous blue Merle, toy Aussie. He has blue eyes, is red factored, and is about the sweetest little guy you could ever meet. He is full panel clear, good OFA's, and is red factored. He is an ASDR champion, and his sire is an Elite Grand Champion.

+8Wendy responded quickly to all my messages! She was able to answer every question I had and really knows the miniature Australian shepherd breed well. After seeing her farm where she keeps all the puppies it was clear she has an amazing set up for breeding and raising puppies. Her and her team put all their effort into raising your puppy to be its best self before becoming part of your family. When we took Stevie home we were so surprised how she was fully potty trained! For such a young puppy that’s very impressive. Stevie is great with kids, loves to play alone or with her new big sister, but she also loves to nap and cuddle throughout the day. I would definitely recommend anyone to get their puppy from Wendy and her crew at Son Shine Farm, and I would definitely get another mini Aussie from Wendy in the future.
