Golden Retriever
About Malibu
Malibu, also known as "Bu or BuBu" is, to us, the perfect golden for the average home looking for an active pet. She is easy to live with in the house and well mannered with very minimal training originally. Malibu has obtained a variety of titles and is working towards skills for trialing in rally and scent work!
Excellent health testing
Border Collie
About Kimber
Kimber has great work ethic and focus, and has quickly picked up everything I've thrown her way. She was very quick to mature, even as a young puppy she always had drive to learn and would always look to me. When she's not working she has the funniest personality combined with a great off switch. Kimber is excelling in agility, disc and rally which are our primary focus. In rally, she earned her RN with near perfect scores and then quickly earned her RA and RE with near perfect scores as well. In agility, she is proving to be consistent and biddable. She finds lines easily, is a team player, and has nice distance and jumping ability. She's got a great blend of handler focus and obstacle focus and loves to please. She has been started in scent work and dock diving foundations in addition to her main sports.

Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
