I'm Karen K., the breeder behind Sophia's Hearth Cavaliers located in Tucson, AZ. Sophia's Hearth is dedicated to hand raising beautiful, happy and healthy cavalier puppies. Our dogs are part of our family and the puppies are given the very best start possible. We have 20 years experience raising and training these loving companion dogs.
Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
When my youngest started nursery school, I chose to adopt a puppy rather than have another child. Sophia was our first cavalier. From day one, Sophie was loved and cherished as part of the family. Our love for Sophie led to the desire to raise cavalier puppies.
Karen has been raising and training cavalier puppies for 19 years.
What makes your program special?
I give the dogs and puppies my full attention, as this is my full time occupation. Health, temperament and conformation are my primary objectives. Close attention is given to our puppies to ensure a healthy and well adjusted litter. I am always happy to answer any questions. I offer lifetime support to all of my customers. I welcome visitors in my home or FaceTime by appointment.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and ruby. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
