I'm shawn e., the breeder behind Southern Edge Kennel located in Sparta, GA. We understand the responsibility of purposefully breeding in order to do better for the breed and the families that love them! We are a selective breeding program that focuses on temperament and the overall well-being of our dogs. We breed to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to thrive in their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve been involved with breeding huskies and cocker spaniels for over 25 years. Our family works together to help raise wonderful, socialized and healthy babies.

  • What makes your program special?

    These puppies are truly part of our family and cared for and handled from day one. We provide love, socializing, training and also screen our dogs for health concerns.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Siberian Husky puppies include brown and white, sable and white, red and white, gray and white, black tan and white, and agouti and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from shawn

shawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $800 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price of the puppy includes health guarantee, age appropriate vaccinations and health checks, AKC reunite microchip, and a puppy packet. The puppies are AKC cavalier king Charles spaniels We are now located in GA - near Milledgeville. We will deliver to surrounding areas within 6 hours of our home. Transportation is available. Limited registration $2500. Full breeding rights are available. A deposit of $200 is required to hold your choice of puppy that is refundable and comes off the price of the puppy. 5 generation pedigree. They will also come with a health guarantee, vetted with age appropriate shots, microchips, and a going home pack with toys, blanket scented with mom and a leash and harness. Parents are embarked. Puppies are raised in our home with our family. The deposit must be paid to hold your puppy of choice. The deposit is refundable until 6 weeks old. After that if you decide not to take the puppy, then the deposit will be moved to a future litter or become nonrefundable.”
