I'm Maria B., the breeder behind Southland Farm Kennels located in Rainbow City, AL. We are a small, family-run program in Alabama. Our dogs are part of our home and loved daily. We raise Maltipoos from our CKC Maltese and AKC Poodle. Our puppies are well-socialized, handled daily, and raised in a loving home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got into breeding through my father-in-law, who raises AKC Toy Poodles. Being around his dogs and program inspired us to start our own family breeding journey.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our program special is that our puppies are truly raised in our home as part of our family. With us and our 2-year-old around them daily, they get lots of love, attention, and early socialization. We also keep a very clean, well-maintained environment for all of our dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Maria

Maria has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Maria partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Maltipoo & Toy Poodle puppies are priced between $1,000–$3,500, depending on size, color, and traits. Price includes deworming, age-appropriate shots, vet exam, registration papers & starter package. $500 non-refundable deposit required to reserve a puppy, applied to total price. If a puppy becomes unavailable while in our care, deposit will be refunded or can be transferred to another puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Maria may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
