I'm Paulette K., the breeder behind Special “K” Dachshunds located in Cherokee, OK. First and foremost, our dogs are members of our family. We are an in-home program dedicated to providing each of our puppies with all the attention and care they need. Our focus is on health and temperament, and we complete health testing on our dogs to ensure healthy pups. We offer top-quality Dachshund puppies from our loving arms to yours!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We wanted to put our passion for Dachsunds to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!

  • What makes your program special?

    We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, red, fawn (isabella) and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Paulette

Paulette has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Paulette partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $950 final payment, before taxes & fees.
