I'm Dena M., the breeder behind Splendor Shelties located in Terrebonne, OR. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Shelties into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions. We are all about making the breed the best it can be. We focus on training and exposing the puppies to a variety of things to help them later in life, for conformation, Agility, Obedience,Herding or just as a wonderful companion.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
