I'm Jared W., the breeder behind Stirpe Corleone Labradors located in Bend, OR. Welcome to Stirpe Corleone Labradors! I'm A small hobby breeder with a passion for Labrador Retrievers. My goal is to raise healthy, well-tempered dogs. Every litter is thoughtfully planned, and my dogs are first and foremost part of my family.

Why did you start breeding?
Sandrinella sparked my interest in responsible breeding and inspired me to learn everything I could about Labrador genetics, pedigrees, and health testing. What began with one special dog has grown into a passion for preserving the Labrador Retriever through thoughtful, ethical breeding.
What makes your program special?
As a small hobby breeder, I focus on quality over quantity. Every litter is thoughtfully planned, and my dogs are raised as part of my family with daily attention and care. My goal is to produce healthy Labradors with wonderful temperaments while continuing to learn, improve, and support every family who brings home one of my puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jared

Jared has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jared partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Choosing a puppy is about much more than coat color or appearance. My goal is to place each puppy in the home where I believe it has the best opportunity to thrive for the rest of its life. Before being approved, prospective families will complete my application process so I can learn about their lifestyle, experience with dogs, activity level, and what they're looking for in a Labrador. As the puppies grow, I spend time getting to know each one, observing their temperament, confidence, energy level, and interactions with people and their littermates. Around 7–8 weeks of age, when these traits become more apparent, I'll work with each approved family to recommend the puppy I believe is the best fit. This approach helps ensure puppies are matched based on compatibility rather than color or appearance alone. My goal is to set both the puppy and its new family up for a lifetime of success together. Puppies typically go home between 8 and 9 weeks of age, depending on their development and the needs of the litter.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, routine deworming, veterinary health exam, health guarantee, puppy packet, blanket w/mother & litter scent, and lifetime breeder support. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place on my waitlist. It is credited toward your puppy's purchase price and helps me plan for each carefully matched home.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jared may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Sandrinella
Sandrinella is everything we love about Labrador Retrievers. She has a sweet, affectionate personality and genuinely enjoys being around people. Whether she’s meeting someone new or spending time with family and friends, she’s happiest when she’s included. She has the playful, eager-to-please nature Labs are known for. She loves games of fetch, exploring new trails, and, of course, any opportunity to swim. If there’s water nearby, she’ll find it! Beyond her fun-loving personality, Sandrinella has an excellent off switch. After a day of adventure, she’s content to relax at home and be close to her people. She is confident, intelligent, and easy to live with, making her a wonderful companion. Sandrinella has undergone health testing to help ensure she meets the highest standards for breeding. Her health clearances include genetic screening and recommended breed-specific evaluations

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
