Meet the breeder

I'm Shannon S., the breeder behind Stogdill's Baby Bullies located in Manchester, IA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Q. & A. with Shannon

  • Why did you start breeding?

My husband bought me a Boston terrier in 2015 with a tag that said, "will you marry me". We fell in love with the breed so very much that we got him a girlfriend and started on a small scale breeding. Well one thing led to another and we realized there needs to be reputable, quality breeders, so we jumped in! We heath test all our babies and if they don't meet strict standards they do not get bred. The rest is history! We love what we do!
  • What makes your program special?

We home raise our babies, health test all parents, wait till mom's are 2 years old to start breeding them. Then, mom's are bred a max of 3 times and then retired, most with us and other family members, occasionally with friends that reach out and want adults and not puppies. This gives them a chance to have a happy healthy life and not just be used for puppies!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Boston Terrier puppies include seal brindle and white, black brindle and white, brindle and white, seal and white, and black and white. French Bulldog puppies include cream, fawn, blue, blue fawn, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
