Q. & A. with Gloria
Why did you start breeding?
Sullivan Rotties is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Rottweiler. My passion is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded puppies for others to cherish just as much as I do.
What makes your program special?
My dogs and puppies are lovingly raised in my home as part of my family so that I can prepare them to be a wonderful addition to yours. I strive to maintain and improve upon the unique qualities that the Rottweiler has to offer by breeding eager-to-please dogs based on conformation and temperament for PET HOMES ONLY. My breeding dogs are all health tested to ensure healthy and happy puppies. It would be my pleasure to introduce you to your next Rottweiler!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About WilhaDean
WilhaDean is a female Rottweiler almost 7 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Gloria decided to make her part of their program. Gloria has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Sullivan Rotties reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Rottweilers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
