I'm Lorraine C., the breeder behind Suncoast Shih Tzus located in Homosassa, FL. Each Dam is kept in my home. Each litter is whelped in my home with daily exposure with other large and small dogs, cats and kids.

Why did you start breeding?
German Shorthair Pointers to work the fields in the past. I have Standard Poodle Stud and have Shih Tzus.What makes your program special?
CHIC# Dam registered with OFA for clear Patellar and Eyes. Can give a lifetime of experience raising puppies to help new owners. Shiloh our current litter's Sire was matched on Embark Genetics to be a great match to have a good COI with no possibility of puppies inheriting any of the health issues Shih Tzu's can inherit.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tricolor and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Lorraine
Lorraine has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $1,000 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Currently the AKC puppies are available. Ready to leave May 23,24,25 and 26th Memorial Day. 1300.00 for AKC REGISTRATION, MICROCHIP AND HEALTH CERTIFICATE . OAKLEY IS AVAILABLE. 300.00 transferred to the next litter if there are no puppies from the current litter available.”

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
