I'm Monica M., the breeder behind Sunflower Cavaliers located in Wichita, KS. My dogs and puppies are lovingly raised in my home as part of my family so I can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. I breed with a focus on health and temperament above all; it is extremely important to me that I am producing healthy puppies who will live long, happy lives with their families. I devote my time, energy, and attention to each litter to ensure my puppies get the best start in life. I take pride in what I do and am excited to introduce you to your next beloved companion.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have enjoyed the journey, and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I am passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.

    I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel line.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Monica

Price

Puppy prices include a $2,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Puppies come with limited AKC registration and a health guarantee. The price also includes age-appropriate vaccines and a veterinary check-up. The deposit of half the purchase price is non-refundable but is transferable."

Contract & health guarantee

Monica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
