I'm Jacob & Kattie R., the breeder behind Sunnyside Dachshunds located in Coweta, OK. We strive to give each puppy the best start in life with early socialization, proper nutrition, and regular vet check-ups. We thoroughly preform health and genetic test on all of our parents in order to bring you the healthiest and highest quality dachshunds with desired temperaments and structure.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our program is a small in-home based program. Where we extensively health and genetically test all our adult dogs. They are all PRA clear. Here at Sunnyside we have Imported and American lineage with only the best quality pedigree and historical health. We focus on ensuring we only provide the best quality and healthiest puppies. Our dogs are family first, breeding dogs second. They are loved as if they were our own children. We are highly committed to breeding genetically stable dogs that help preserve the breed.

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jacob & Kattie

Jacob & Kattie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jacob & Kattie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“"This includes AKC registration paperwork, up to date on vaccinations, 1 year genetic health guarantee and health certificate. $500 Non-Refundable deposit to hold, which will come off the price of the puppy. Deposits are ONLY refundable in extreme cases, if something unforeseen comes up with your puppy while in my care. However, a deposit can be moved from your puppy to a future litter if needed.”

Jacob & Kattie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    “Jacob & Kattie,” were fabulous breeders to work with. We adopted our precious shaded cream dachshund Versace…. “SACEY,” April 2026. Both Jacob & Kattie are very knowledgeable about the dachshund breed and they did extremely well at preparing SACEY to move into her forever home. They were always great at answering all our questions we ask them about from, SACEY’s likes & dislikes, her favorite toys, treats, food, medical records, sleeping habits, potty training ides, etc….. They did a fantastic job of having SACEY on her way to understanding the potty training (she sure liked the fake grass pads & eventually moved them to the back porch, and she mastered the doggie door that goes directly to the fenced back yard.) ** I have gotten many of dogs in my life time. But this is the first time that I have taken my new puppy to her very first Vet Appointment and she received an A+ Report, (Jacob & Kattie) we have to Thank for that!! Our veterinarian was impressed!! 😊 They saw to it that their puppies were up-to-date on their vaccinations & had them on a wonderful food plan. SACEY’s digestive system adjusted well and her emotions seemed to adjust very smoothly when she moved into our home. Because Kattie & Jacob had helped prepare us & even sent us home with some of SACEY’s favorite treats etc. We highly recommend Jacob & Kattie as extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy Dachshund breeders!! ❤️👍 Thankyou Jamey, Chris, SACEY says Woof, Woof, too. & Woof Woof from, her New sisters too, Frannie & Paris.
