I'm Brooke S., the breeder behind Sunshine Patch Cavalier Pups located in Aberdeen, SD. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I love the Cavalier King Charles breed. They are very smart, extremely loving and have a very fun personality. There is not a thing about them that I would change. I got into breeding to give others the ability to experience the joy and love they bring to people's lives. I have not met a person yet that does not love them.

  • What makes your program special?

    We treat them as a member of our family as soon as they are born. They get loved on daily by my kids and I. We introduce them to everything. We do puppy desensitization. What does that mean? Introducing them lots of different noises and places. They hear vacuums, cars, kids, adults, other dogs, cats, lawn mowers, music, car rides, baths, vet visits, walking on leash with harness, brushing their teeth, hair dryers, etc.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brooke

Brooke has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price include 2 rounds of vaccines, pedigree papers, ACA registration papers, puppy socialization and lots of snuggles and kisses from your new puppy. A deposit of $600 is to secure the puppy you are in love with. It is non-refundable because I will need to find it a new home if you decide you are not ready. However, that deposit can be used towards a future puppy. Terms apply."

Brooke may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
