I'm Nicole & Joshua N., the breeder behind Sweet Baby Cavaliers located in La Vernia, TX. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new forever puppy into their lives! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother is a breeder and gave me Darla as a Christmas present. I decided to breed her because she has made US so happy and I know this breed is amazing. I want to share the love!!

  • What makes your program special?

    I only have Darla and this is only her second litter. I do NOT run a puppy mill and take Darla’s health extremely seriously as I have with her puppies in the past (or should I say my grand puppies)!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Nicole & Joshua

Nicole & Joshua has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This price range depends on whether you’re interested in a female or male, with or without breeding rights. All puppies will be AKC registered. 500$ Ensures the puppy will be held for the buyer until it reaches the age of being separated and weaned from the dam enabling her/him to be united with their furever home! Usually between 8-10 weeks old. Deposits are not asked for until puppies arrive born and health and gender are verified."

Contract & health guarantee

Nicole & Joshua may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Sweet Baby Cavaliers was a dream breeder!! We received so many pictures prior to our puppies arrival and she was very responsive and available. Winston is the cutest and sweetest puppy! He loves to cuddle but is also rambunctious and playful! The vet says he is a very healthy puppy! We love him so much and our experience with our breeder was wonderful!
