Meet the breeder

I'm Sandra S., the breeder behind Sydney’s Goldens located in Inverness, FL. We strive to produce quality golden retriever puppies that come from health tested parents, have wonderful temperaments, and are raised in our home with a proper foundation to help ensure they have the very best start to life as possible. We provide daily photos and updates on our puppies through our FB page. We also do weekly photoshoots! We know how exciting the first 8 weeks of your puppies life are and how they change so quickly and we want to share every moment we can with you.

Q. & A. with Sandra

  • Why did you start breeding?

At Sydney’s Goldens we do puppy culture! Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) begins on day 3 and continues through day 16. Research shows that tiny struggles and stresses in appropriate small doses are actually good for puppies and will help them grow into strong, healthy well-adjusted adults. Benefits include greater tolerance to stress, greater resistance to disease, faster adrenal system, stronger heart rate and stronger heartbeat. This is a gift that a breeder can only give their puppies once during the window of 3-16 days. Early Scent Introduction (ESI) also begins on day 3 and continues through day 16 and is a procedure we do that helps puppies with their nose awareness and confidence. It enhances their ability to identify and react to scents. Introducing puppies to one new scent each day helps create a more aware and alert dog, which in return makes them an even better companion.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised in a very hands on household, so when we say our pups are family-raised we really mean that! Our pups grow up in and around our home, and our very loving, very busy, very noisy family all take part in helping each pup grow up with a sweet, well-socialized, and happy personality.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Connect with Sandra to learn more details about pricing.

“After a litter is born, we will reach out to families who have filled out a Puppy Application form so that they can join our official waitlist. We will collect a refundable deposit holding fee to reserve your place on the waitlist for either a male or female puppy. This holding fee will go towards the total purchase price of your puppy. Our puppy selection order will follow the waitlist order. Families do not get to select their puppies until after they turn 4 weeks old when they will have a chance to come to my home and meet the puppies in person! Video chat is available for those who are unable to attend. Each family will have a scheduled time frame to spend one on one time with the litter so you can meet my family, our dogs, and all of the puppies before deciding which sweet baby will become part of your family! Once you've decided on your furever friend, we will collect a deposit to hold your selected puppy with the remaining balance due when you come to pick up your puppy after they turn 8 weeks old. Case by case situation.”

From my first contact to even now, I never had a bad experience with Sandra. She is so easy to work with and she responds super fast! As for my new puppy (Romeo), he is just perfect! I took him to his 3-month vet visit last week, and the vet commented on his overall health & demeanor as 10 out of 10. I have to give credit to Sandra's early puppy, potty and socialization training as one of the key differentiators. These pups are so easy to train and they just love people and other dogs!

The care and love that Sandra put into these puppies really showed with every update she gave us. From doing weekly weigh-ins, to doing cute photo shoots with our Maya, Sandra always made our week. We could not be more satisfied with all her work and we are so lucky to have found someone who loves these dogs as much as we love our little Maya.

Sydney’s Goldens has been the sweetest breeder to work with! She has been very responsive, flexible, and knowledgeable through the whole experience. You can tell she is caring from before birth until furever! We got a pup from her first litter and he has been the best thing to happen to us! He is the sweetest, smartest, and most fun! We will be getting a girl from their next litter as well. We cannot wait 🩷
