I'm Sydney G., the breeder behind Syd's Designer Breeds of NC located in West Jefferson, NC. We offer top-quality, healthy, and well-adjusted dogs. Our dogs are raised by children and other animals in the home. We are dedicated to providing the best puppies for you to bring home and love for life! We health check each of our parents to ensure the safety of breeding. We also focus on making connections if any health issues arise so we can get your pup the utmost care and support we can for a long life!

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always wanted to do something with animals but I had a lot of allergies in my childhood to animals. When I became married and had children, I decided to research a good breed and ended up with a wonderful Yorkipoo and she saved my life. I wanted the world to experience what I’ve experienced with her. The unconditional love and compassion a dog can give is something anyone should have. I’m happy to breed!What makes your program special?
We make breeding possible in the comfort of our home where our dogs are loved throughout the year and not used just for breeding purposes. We make sure all our animals are well kept and well-loved.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Sydney
Sydney has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Included with your puppy are the health papers of parents, CKC registration, the first health exam, shot records, and deworming records. They also get a puppy starter pack with 12 items. We ask for a deposit to hold your puppy. This will guarantee weekly photos or video calls of your puppy. Puppies require a lot of care in those first weeks so deposits are non-refundable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Sydney may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
